Outside of work, Mike enjoys hiking, travelling, and playing badminton.

Working as a speech pathologist has been my dream job as I always knew that I wanted to help others and I love both language and science. After working for a few years as an English teacher and an administrator in Hong Kong, I decided to make a change and travelled to Australia to pursue my passion. There has never been a dull moment since I studied to be a speech pathologist and I am very grateful to have entered such a fulfilling profession.

I love working with my clients and their families to make meaningful differences in their everyday lives. I also enjoy looking for creative and innovative ways to help my clients achieve their communication goals. Working with kids and young adults brings me a great deal of joy and it is rewarding to see my clients grow and reach their full potential.

The Thing That Goes Ping! written by Mark Carthew and illustrated by Shane McGowan. I like the lively illustrations, the playful story and the creative rhymes. It is a very fun book to read out loud.
